The Evolution Series disposers introduce new technologies, MultiGrind and SoundSeal, that address the two most common requests we've heard over the years; improved grinding ability and reduced noise. MultiGrind is a two stage technology that enables you to quickly grind food waste significantly better than you could in any previous disposer. SoundSeal Plus is a combination of advanced sound insulation and anti-vibration components that reduce noise levels by 60% compared to standard disposers. Nothing grinds more with less noise. The Excel model contains a step above our MultiGrind feature and offers MultiGrind Plus. MultiGrind Plus is a three stage technology that allows you grind almost any food waste. It also includes a jam-sensing technology that virtually eliminates jams caused by food waste. These problem foods include; corncobs, rib bones, celery and potato peels. The Jam-Sensor Circuit automatically increases motor torque up to 500% to break through jams.
